Wisteria to cover large facades

When at home we have ridged walls of windows and doors, they do not allow us to put blinds or structures to be placed there vines that are very decorative.

This also makes some smaller species, lost or not looks for the vastness of the walls, and so you can avoid planting wisteria, which besides having a delicious scent every spring has stems that grow about one meter per year and become colorful and bushy.

To plant them keep in mind the following tips.

Wisteria plants are in full sun exposure, and can grow in the shade and adapt to low temperatures, especially in areas where frost may arrive late. These are plants that should be sown in autumn, although in temperate zones, and they can be planted in winter.

Wisteria Pruning should be done in both summer and winter, and it is important to keep it from becoming a bunch of tangled stems and trunks. They can multiply by layering system in the fall and spring and late summer by cuttings, and should be very careful because they are easy plants to attack by aphids in spring and summer spider mites, if they are warm and dry.
